Roadtrip

This is the route we will be travelling. We will start in London, by renting a car we will get from London and all the way to York, through Nottingham.

We took a early flight to London, where we rented a supercool Tesla Roadster sportscar from the rental car service at the airport. This car is eco-friendly and it's not a bad thing that it looks just as good as it does.

Before we started our long journey we decided to just take a chill day in London. And we started with lunching in Hyde Park. We ordered sandwiches from Speedy's Sandwich Bar & Cafe and then went for some shopping in Oxford Street. Topshop, a famous store in England had a massive sale and we just had to go in. We walked in the store with nothing in our hands, but when we walked out our hands were totally full.

After a day full of walking we were so tired. So we figured out that we should check  in at a closeby hotel for the night. We found a availible room at The Langham Hotel London. A beautiful five stars hotel, very expensive but it was so worth it!

After a good night sleep we started the trip against Nottingham. We listened to a lot of good, loud music and had a lot of fun singing and dancing to the awesome music. Halfway to Nottingham we were starving and suddenly a McDonald's sign sparkling against us and we had to pull over. We ate so much that our stomachs were bursting.
When we reached Northampton we noticed we had to charge the vehicle. There were something wrong with the charger that made the charging take a while longer, so in the meantime we went to the Sixfields Stadium and watched a really boring, but amusing football game.

When we arrived in Nottingham we figured out something totally crazy. WE WERE GOING SKYDIVING!! We discovered this company called British Parachute Schools, which is located at Skydive Langar, close to Nottingham. I was so terrified before we jumped and I thought of everything that could go wrong.. But it was a lot of fun, and a memory to keep for the rest of our lives.

On the way to our last stop on this journey, York, we got in the middle of a long waiting line of cars because of some road work. Therefore we arrived York long after the estimated time.

We visited the York Minister Cathedral, it is one of the greatest cathedrals from the middle age in England and Northern Europe's largest gothic cathedrals. It was built by Henry III in 1220. We entered a guided tour through the cathedral, which lasted for about two hours. This visit made us feel like grown ups.

This was our last stop at this roadtrip, unfortunately. We returned the car at the nearest car rental service in York, then got on a plain back to Oslo. This trip was unforgettable, thanks to my fantastic friend Carina!

Poem about the narrow road

I am walking on a narrow road
I hear leaves flickering in the cold autumn breeze
And it makes me wanna sneeze
I see birds flying over the tree tops
They sing beautiful songs
And then everything goes to sleep
On the narrow road

Quote

I chose the qoute "My mother protected me from the world and my father threatened me with it". I think it's very true because every mother in the world try their best to protect their children. I am not saying that the fathers does'nt, but they are more eager to let them run free in a way. Some might mean that the children has to experience both good and bad things to "grow up", but the mothers just want their babies as long as possible and don't wanna risk their children being hurt.

Class trip to Jotunheimen

Last week I was in Jotunheimen with my class. It was very fun but it  was also really exhausting. I got to see many different things on the trip. We even got to walk inside an ice tunnel.

We took a break from the driving in Lillehammer were we ate and bought snacks for the trip. The bus trip was very tiring and long. On our way up we stopped at a place called "Helvete", where it was a pothole. We walked through it.

Next stop was a place called "Kvitskriuprestinn". It was very fascinating columns of glacial material there. It was a nightmare to walk up the stairs to the columns. My legs were burning so much when we walked down again.

this is me at Kvitskriuprestinn :)

The next day there were many who went rafting but I did'nt dare to do it. Later that day we went to "Norsk Fjellmuseeum" in Lom.

Later we took the bus to Juvasshytta where we look at different stones and walked inside an ice tunnel. It was magnificent.

The last day we began the long journey against Galdhøpiggen. It was horrible. I was so tired and I did'nt want to walk one more step. But when we got to the top it was beautiful!

It was a great trip and I had a lot of fun!

Songs and poems about relationships

We have been listening to three different songs/poems describing relationships.

I think the first one "I am a Rock" is about someone who is mostly alone. The "rock" doesn't like friendship or love at all. It locks itself inside all alone. The song is quite depressing.

"No Man is an Island" is about how important it is to be a part of a community and not to be alone.

"You'll never walk alone" is a encouraging text. It says not to be afraid of the dark and to hold your head up high when you walk through a storm.

I like the songs very much!
